Built on Foodics’ cloud-based infrastructure, Foodics Black is designed around the operational complexity of full-service dining, where delivering an exceptional guest experience requires seamless coord ination between front- and back-of-house teams. The platform brings together smart reservations, real-time floor management, seat-level ordering, course pacing, kitchen synchronization, inventory management and table-side payments within a single environment, giving restaurant teams greater control across the entire guest journey, from reservation through to payment.
The platform is complemented by new premium and sleek hardware designed specifically for sophisticated dining environments, combining performance and durability with an elevated design that integrates naturally into fine-dining and contemporary restaurant settings, with support for Android devices.
For operators, this connected approach is designed to improve service consistency and staff efficiency while helping restaurants reduce waste, optimize workforce allocation and minimize errors caused by disconnected systems. The platform is also compliant with ZATCA’s e-invoicing requirements.
Ahmad AlZaini, Co-founder and CEO of Foodics, said “Foodics Black represents our vision for the next generation of full-service restaurant technology: connected, intelligent and built around the guest. It also unlocks a whole new market segment for Foodics, as well as allowing us to support our existing customer base further. We see a significant opportunity to bring enterprise-grade capabilities to restaurant groups across the region while giving them technology that understands the realities of hospitality.”
At LEAP, Foodics signed a strategic partnership with MJS Holding, one of Saudi Arabia’s leading restaurant operators, whose portfolio includes Black Tap, A.O.K Kitchen, Ruya, Mr CHOW, La Terraza, and more, to roll out Foodics Black across its restaurants. The company also signed partnerships with Spice, a dining discovery and loyalty platform that enables guests to discover and book restaurants, and Wi-Q (Wi-Connect), an omnichannel digital ordering solution that consolidates orders from multiple delivery and ordering platforms into a single interface. Together, these partnerships extend Foodics Black across the guest and operator experience, from restaurant discovery and loyalty to ordering and payments, while reducing the need for operators to manage multiple standalone systems and devices.
The announcement comes as Saudi Arabia’s full-service restaurant sector continues to expand, with the market estimated at USD 16.15 billion in 2025 and projected to reach USD 24.12 billion by 2030. This growth is increasingly being shaped by experience-led dining and the expansion of lifestyle destinations, creating new demands on the technology supporting restaurant operations.
