Redington, the technology ecosystem orchestrator shaping how technology is brought to market, scaled and adopted across geographies, has expanded its longstanding relationship with Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG), becoming an authorised distributor for Lenovo’s server portfolio in Iraq.

The agreement strengthens Redington’s growing technology ecosystem in the country and expands access to enterprise-grade infrastructure through its channel partner network.

As organisations across Iraq modernise their technology environments and explore new opportunities around cloud, data, AI and digital services, the underlying infrastructure is becoming increasingly important. Through the collaboration, Redington and Lenovo will work together to help partners address these evolving requirements with server solutions designed for modern enterprise workloads.

The partnership will also create new opportunities for Iraq’s channel community to build capabilities around enterprise infrastructure. Redington will focus on enabling partners to identify opportunities, develop their technical capabilities and take Lenovo ISG solutions to customers across different industries.

Jeetendra Berry, President, GCC & Levant, Redington, said, “Iraq is an important and growing market for Redington, and our partnership with Lenovo ISG strengthens the infrastructure capabilities we can bring to customers and partners here. As enterprises modernise their environments and prepare for more data- and AI-intensive workloads, the opportunity for the channel is to move beyond supplying technology to solving increasingly complex infrastructure needs. As a technology ecosystem orchestrator, Redington is focused on creating the conditions for that growth – expanding partner capabilities, opening up new areas of opportunity and helping build a stronger enterprise technology market in Iraq.”

The agreement combines Lenovo’s enterprise infrastructure technologies with Redington’s channel reach, market understanding and partner ecosystem. Together, the companies aim to make enterprise server infrastructure more accessible to organisations in Iraq while helping partners broaden their portfolios and address emerging customer requirements.

Mohammed Hilili, General Manager, Lenovo, GULF, “Iraq is seeing growing demand for robust, high-performance infrastructure as organisations take on more complex workloads and accelerate digital adoption. Our collaboration with Redington will make Lenovo ISG server solutions more accessible to customers across the country, while giving them greater choice in how they build and scale their IT environments. Together, we aim to support businesses with the performance, reliability and flexibility they need as their technology requirements continue to evolve.”

For Redington, the agreement also reflects its broader focus on strengthening its presence in Iraq by bringing more global technology capabilities to the local market and creating stronger connections between vendors, partners and customers.
