When I look back at my journey in technology, I don’t just see large stages or global brands. I see years of conversations, negotiations, setbacks, wins, and the constant drive to build something meaningful. I have had the privilege of working with tech companies and on platforms such as LEAP, Deepfest, Money20/20 Middle East, and now Kingdom of Gaming. These are large-scale platforms that bring together enterprise leaders, AI innovators, fintech disruptors, cybersecurity experts, cloud providers, investors, policymakers and many more. But what stays with me most is not the scale – It’s the people.
These platforms create moments. A founder securing their first major partnership. A government entity announcing a transformative digital initiative. A woman leader stepping onto a global stage for the first time and owning it with confidence. Being part of building environments where those moments happen has shaped how I see technology – not just as infrastructure or code, but as opportunity.
My role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy and ecosystem building. It involves aligning enterprises with national digital agendas, supporting startups as they scale, and helping global tech players understand emerging markets. In regions like the Middle East, governments are investing heavily in AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and innovation ecosystems. These aren’t just policies on paper, they are real platforms creating access, funding, and visibility. These initiatives create space for women not only to participate, but to lead whether as founders building enterprise-grade solutions, investors backing frontier technologies, or executives driving transformation within large organisations.
Large-scale technology ecosystems provide something many of us didn’t always have early in our careers – access to capital, Access to decision-makers, and Access to global conversations. When women step into these spaces as founders, investors, enterprise leaders, or policymakers, growth accelerates for the entire nation.
The opportunities in these markets are genuinely exciting. Governments are investing heavily in digital infrastructure and actively building innovation ecosystems, while enterprise technology is changing how economies function every day. For me, the question is no longer whether women have a place in this transformation – we absolutely do. The real focus now is on stepping forward with confidence and playing a meaningful role in shaping what comes next.
This International Women’s Day, my message is clear -The platforms exist, capital is flowing, and ecosystem is ready. Women must build, lead, and shape the future of technology at its highest levels.
