As Verda expands its cloud capability for AI, the ability to deploy infrastructure quickly and efficiently across different regions becomes increasingly crucial. Compal continues to invest in expanding its manufacturing capacity, including increased capacity in Daxi, Taiwan, and the United States, strengthening its ability to support customers closer to where AI infrastructure is deployed.
This global presence is a significant advantage for Verda’s expansion strategy. U.S. deployments can be supported by local manufacturing in the U.S., while Compal’s increased capacity at Daxi can support Verda’s growth in the EMEA and Asia regions. This helps improve flexibility in deployments, supply chain resiliency, and speed as Verda scales its AI infrastructure globally.
Growing Together: From Advanced Computing to Global Deployment
The collaboration between Verda and Compal brings together complementary strengths throughout the entire AI infrastructure lifecycle. Verda brings its expertise in GPU-based cloud infrastructure, as well as its deployment and operations, transforming advanced computing capability into scalable cloud AI services. Compal provides the engineering, large-scale manufacturing capability and global production infrastructure needed to turn the latest accelerated computing technologies into deployment-ready solutions.
Together, the two companies are creating a more agile path to bring NVIDIA’s accelerated computing technology to production AI environments, enabling Verda to scale capacity more quickly while maintaining the reliability and scalability of infrastructure needed for growth on a global scale.
As the basis for this new stage, Compal’s SGX30-2 system is used, based on NVIDIA HGX B300 systems with eight NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs. Designed for high-density AI workloads, this platform provides a next-generation computing foundation for Verda’s rapidly expanding AI infrastructure.
Jorge Santos, Verda’s chief operating officer, said:
“Our mission is to build the next generation of cloud infrastructure for AI, aimed at serving the best developers. Compal gives us the manufacturing capacity to deploy resources closer to our customers, as well as the engineering strength that allows us to achieve this without sacrificing quality or speed as we scale our AI infrastructure globally.”
Alan Chang, Vice President, Infrastructure Solutions Business Group (ISBG) at Compal, commented:
“Our investment in manufacturing on a global scale aims to support customers as AI infrastructure transitions from a phase of rapid innovation to one of large-scale deployment. By combining Compal’s engineering and manufacturing capabilities with Verda’s expertise in the cloud for AI and operations, we can respond with greater agility to regional demand and accelerate the deployment of next-generation AI infrastructure.”
Boosting collaboration at GTC Berlin 2026
GTC Berlin 2026 marks the next chapter in the collaboration between Verda and Compal, bringing their shared vision of a scalable AI infrastructure to the growing AI ecosystem in Europe. Both companies will dialogue with customers and technology partners on how advanced computing, regional manufacturing, and cloud operations can be integrated to accelerate the deployment of AI globally.
