The Ministry of Industry has called on all industrial project owners in Egypt to join APIP. online, the first official platform in the Arab region for the demand and supply of Arab industrial and mining products.

The platform aims to achieve industrial integration across various industrial sectors among Arab countries.

This initiative comes within Egypt’s keen efforts and ongoing endeavors to deepen Arab economic cooperation and industrial integration.

Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport Kamel Wazir has given directives to adopt this approach amidst digital transformation and ongoing efforts to strengthen Arab industrial cooperation.

This highlights the need for concerted efforts between the Egyptian Ministry of Industry and the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining Organization (AIDSMO).

The platform is a key AIDSMO initiative aiming to support connectivity among Arab factories by facilitating industrial and commercial exchange, linking Arab companies with each other, in addition to providing a digital database of demand and supply of industrial and mining products across Arab countries.

It also enables Arab countries to benefit from each other’s industrial and mining capabilities.

All products, production inputs, and spare parts will be available on the platform to all factories both locally and regionally, thus opening export markets and reducing import gaps through Arab industrial integration.

Notably, the platform offers its services free of charge to participating factories.
